Code of Conduct

NESC is dedicated to provide a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or computing experience (or lack of any of the aforementioned). We will not tolerate harassment of NESC participants in any form. Abusive language and imagery is not appropriate at NESC venue, including hacks, talks, fun activities, social media and other online media. NESCparticipants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the NESC organizers

NESC staff will be happy to provide an environment whereparticipants can feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, NESC organizers may take any action they deem appropriate. This includes warning the offender, expulsion from the NESC with no refund (if applicable), or reporting their behavior to local law enforcement.

We expect that all participants willfollow these rules at IEEEP NESC’17
